Ufi Charitable Trust supports the delivery of adult vocational skills through digital technology. We fund projects that can change how digital learning happens, to bring much more learning to many more people. Our focus is on supporting innovation in digital technologies to ensure that more adults gain the skills they need to get into work and to progress, through opportunities to learn and develop their skills when, where and how it best suits them. And to support the UK economy with more and better workplace skills.
Technology can help people overcome the barriers to learning that make it harder to get the skills they need to get into work and build careers. Lack of numeracy is one of those barriers and we are pleased to be supporting National Numeracy to develop fantastic new digital tools to help people improve their skill in using numbers and understand why this really matters at work.
Ufi believes that quicker, better, digital is the future of vocational learning. We are proud to support National Numeracy Day, a great example of how tech is helping improve skills for work. We look forward to seeing many more people using numbers with confidence at work and using their new skills to get more and better jobs – this way we can all be ‘numbers people’.
