For the first time National Numeracy Day has a theme. For 2025 we'll be talking about Money, and this is why...
Our new research shows that almost a third (32%) of UK adults seeking to improve their maths and numeracy skills say it's to better manage their money. This goes even higher for parents of young children, and young people. We also know from talking to learners how crippling it can be for our finances to lack confidence with numbers.

Number Heroes Competition
Kids can create a picture of their dream job or hobby and tell us how it uses numbers. Get their imagination running wild to be in with a chance to win a fantastic prize for themselves and an incredible prize bundle for their nursery, school or youth group!

Catch up: National Numeracy Day LIVE
Our online assembly live streamed to thousands of children around the UK. It features 30 minutes of number-themed fun hosted by TV maths teacher and National Numeracy ambassador Bobby Seagull, plus more special guests!

By signing up to National Numeracy Day you'll be joining over 10,000 dynamic organisations – including thousands of schools – to champion numeracy. This year we're also giving school sign ups full access to the Family Maths Toolkit, containing over 200 numeracy activities for ages 3-13, and they're available in Welsh too!
